Power 106
Los Angeles, California, USA

Airdate: March 16th, 1990
DJ: Joe "The Boomer" Servantez
An interview with Alan & Fletch by Joe "The Boomer" Servantez, a few days before the release of Violator in the United States (March 20th, 1990). The boys discuss, among other things, alternative radio and the upcoming Warehouse in-store.
This recording is sourced from a cassette from the estate of Howie Klein (president of Sire Records).
The archivist has edited down the first song ("Personal Jesus"), but has left in the second song (a unique edit to Power 106 of the Hands And Feet Mix of "Enjoy The Silence"), and has recreated the unique edit using a master source.
As the overall recording is a bit rough (distortion), the archivist has extracted (and attempted to clean) the speech from the radio recording. By doing this process, the music playing over the beginning of the original interview ("Songbird" by Kenny G) was removed from the recording. The archivist did not attempt to put that song back in the recording.
Other than removing Kenny G, the archivist kept this rare interview as close to the original source as possible, including the excessive reverb.
