Strangelove (Single Release)
April 13th, 1987

"Strangelove", released in April of 1987, was the first single from the album "Music For The Masses". Building on the success of the album "Black Celebration", "Strangelove" helped break Depeche Mode big in the United States. They truly were creating Music For The Masses.

Utilizing footage from the webmaster's private stash, some clips from the DM TV Archives, an attempt to try and reconstruct an acoustic version of the song taken from multiple TV shows, and the official music videos for "Strangelove" and "Strangelove '88", here is a look back at "Strangelove".
