For those of you who will be attending the February 20th show at the O2 Arena in London, please be advised that the London Underground Jubilee Line will not be running that night. The entire Jubilee line will be closed for upgrade works, so there are no services to North Greenwich (The O2).

Transport services from central London
by boat
The O2 has its very own high speed express river service between Waterloo and The O2 taking just 25 minutes. Book now to have a memorable journey to and from The O2. This service is PRE-BOOK ONLY online so we can guarantee you a seat and manage demand. Single £6 / £12 return. This service is provided by Thames Clippers and runs every 30 minutes between 16.30 and 19.00 before the event and from 15 minutes after the event finish time until 00.00.

by DLR and boat shuttle
For those travelling from and to central London (south of the Central line) please take the DLR, change at East India station and use the BOAT SHUTTLE services running between the DLR and The O2. The DLR will be running a normal service and boat services will run every 5-7 minutes between 17:00 and 20:30 before the show and 22:00 and 23.30 after the show. The walk between East India DLR and the river pier is approximately 250 metres. The journey time to The O2 from Bank is approximately 35 minutes. Click here for a detailed route map. Please make sure you have a valid ticket (DLR, Oyster, travelcard) before you travel.

by tube and bus
If you are travelling from central London (north of the Central line) we would recommend you change onto the Central line, alight at Stratford and take the Rail Replacement Bus Service F (from Bus Stop X). Services will run every 5 minutes and the bus ride is approximately 20 minutes. The route will be clearly sign posted.

by The O2 Shuttle
A shuttle bus service will be provided from The O2 (after the event only) into Waterloo, Charing Cross and Victoria. Services will leave from North Greenwich bus station from Bus Stop D. All tickets are PRE-BOOK ONLY (£6 single) and are available online. Please note that Oyster cards or Travelcards are not accepted for this service. Additional services will be provided subject to pre-booked demand.

Transport services from East London
by bus and DLR / boat shuttle
Passengers travelling from East London (Canning Town, West Ham or Stratford) should use rail replacement bus service F. Alternatively the boat shuttle noted above from East India DLR will also be available. These services will run every 5-7 minutes.

Local transport services
by bus
Eight TfL local bus routes operate to and from The O2. Key destinations include Stratford, Charlton, Greenwich, Lewisham, Woolwich, Eltham, north Kent and central London. Please visit www.tfl.gov.uk for timetable information. Please note these services have limited capacity so if you wish to travel to and from Central London (e.g. London Bridge and Waterloo) please use the main services noted above. Private transport
by car
The car parks are located within a short walk of the main entrance of The O2. Car parking for this event is PRE BOOK ONLY so we can manage demand and avoid disappointment. Tickets must be booked 24 hours in advance. Please note there is no on street parking on the Greenwich Peninsula. Please use Car Park 1 unless directed otherwise.

by car: FREE drop off / pick up
Those of you who will be dropped off and picked up by car, please use our FREE dedicated drop off / pick up area within car park 1. Here is a map of the Greenwich Peninsula.

by taxi and private hire
North Greenwich station has a dedicated black taxi rank. Private hire is also available for pre-booking or on the night through kiosks at the main entrance of The O2. Greenwich Express Cars: 020 8858 6661.

Depeche Mode are delighted to announce that The Horrors will support them as special guests for their Teenage Cancer Trust Show, Royal Albert Hall, February 17th.

Depeche Mode who launch the 10th anniversary of Teenage Cancer Trusts gigs sold out their Royal Albert Hall show in a cool 4 minutes.

The band will be donating all proceeds from the one-off show to help raise funds for desperately needed specialist teenage cancer facilities.

Depeche Mode and Hublot launch the auction of the most exclusive collector's pieces in the history of Rock and Roll with all proceeds donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Bidding begins February 8th and terminates February 24th

Twelve unique timepieces bearing the album artwork of Depeche Mode's legendary studio albums will be sold via an online auction with all proceeds from the sale going to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Depeche Mode have won the award for "Best International Group - Rock / Pop" at the 2010 ECHO Awards in Germany! Also nominated in the same category were U2, A-ha, Black Eyed Peas and Gossip.

Martin and Fletch were at the ceremonies to accept the award. View the acceptance speech in our Video / Television area.

Recoil's album, entitled 'Selected', has been set for worldwide release on 19th April 2010. The album contains a selection of classic Recoil tracks chosen by Alan Wilder who says: "The collection is made up of my personal favourites, remastered and edited together into what I consider a cohesive and total listening experience."

'Selected' features an eclectic mixture of vocalists including Diamanda Galás, Joe Richardson, Douglas McCarthy, Samantha Coerbell, Siobhan Lynch, Toni Halliday, Nicole Blackman , Maggie Estep and Carla Trevaskis.

David marked the joyous occasion of the formal adoption of James Nicholas Rogers-Gahan, the son of his wife of eleven years, Jennifer Sklias-Gahan in New York City on Wednesday March 24th. Jimmy officially joins David's other two children -- daughter Stella Rose Gahan, and son, Jack Gahan.

Basic are an electro alternative duo from Basildon, Essex, England. The Band was founded by cousins Louis Hyde (lead vocals) and Dean Oldfield (Chief Songwriter, Keyboards) in 2005 due to their joint passion for music. Their music is influenced by their uncle (Martin Gore), as well as bands like New Order, Joy Division and Kraftwerk.

Since 2005 Dean and Louis have written many songs and have played many local gigs including "Chinnerys" in Southend-on-Sea and they also put on their own show at Towngate Theatre (Basildon) in 2008.

After hugely successful presentations of 'A Strange Hour' across Europe - performances which marked the first time Recoil ventured out of the studio - Alan Wilder is able to confirm a series of dates for the next leg of Recoil's 'Selected Events' tour, scheduled for October & November 2010.

Recoil recently played a show in Mexico City and if the response there is anything to go by, this upcoming leg of the tour is going to be a something special. Says Alan "The Mexicans didn't disappoint, and I've been receiving innumerable requests from Argentinians, Chileans, Peruvians, Brazilians and many others in that part of the world for years now, pleading for a visit. I'm really flattered to be asked of course, and looking forward to it finally happening - I know we will have an incredible time in South America. Paul Kendall and I are planning a few changes to the live set with some new films as well."

In North America and Canada, Recoil with be joined by Daniel Myer's Architect as well as Conjure One (Rhys Fulber - Delirium, Front Line Assembly) for some dates. Recoil will also be playing an exclusive double bill with Gary Numan in Chicago. 'A Strange Hour' will be presented at this unique event while Gary and his band will be performing his classic 'The Pleasure Principle' album in full. Architect will also be on the bill in Chicago.

At all of the 'Selected' events, Alan will be conducting after-show signing sessions so bring your albums along. And look out for news of DM/Recoil parties at certain venues along the way too - there are already parties lined up in Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Dallas, Toronto, Santiago & San Francisco..

EXCLUSIVE - SPECIAL GUEST!

We are very excited to bring you news of an exclusive one show-only guest DJ appearance at Recoil's event at Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana, CA on 24th October. A certain Mr Martin L. Gore will be appearing to DJ at an aftershow DM/Recoil party.

Martin has graciously agreed to appear just for this event to spin a collection of his favourite tracks. Many will be aware that Martin likes to DJ occasionally and reveal his enthusiasm for electronica.

DJ Daniel Barassi will be hosting the party as well as DJ-ing himself and there will be a meet & greet session too - so please join us for this special celebration and don't forget to bring your treasured items to be signed!

'Selected' - Recoil's brand new selection of classic tracks is out now and is available either as download (Europe / USA), 1CD (Europe) or 2CD (Europe / USA) editions. The 2CD features many new remixes and alternative versions, chosen and edited together by Alan and Paul Kendall.

The limited edition deluxe 4-disc box set and a vinyl edition have both now sold out.

Recoil iPhone App - Alan has announced details of a brand new iPhone App. Available now, Version 2.01 of the Recoil app (which also works with iPad) provides the most portable way to keep in touch with all the very latest news, including up-to-the-minute updates on the new tour schedule. As well as creating a hub for Recoil's social networking, there is also access to photos, videos, audio and Alan's concepts behind each of his albums.

Designed by un.titled, the app is free and available now from the iTunes store.

Martin has contributed to the new Bomb The Bass album "Back To Light". The song "Milakia", originally written during the "Ultra" era, has now been included on the new Bomb The Bass album. From Tim Simenon: "It's a track I've always loved, but could never find a home for, really. It seemed like a perfect closer for this (new) album".

Martin co-wrote the song, and plays synth on the track as well. Check out the YouTube video on your left.

Playing 102 shows in 40 countries, Depeche Mode's acclaimed Tour Of The Universe saw Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Andrew 'Fletch' Fletcher performing to over 2.7 million people.

Their epic trip across the globe was one of the most successful tours of recent history and saw them playing a host of stunning material spanning their impressive 30 year history.

'Tour Of The Universe - Live In Barcelona' contains 21 tracks recorded over two sold out nights at the Palau St Jordi in Barcelona on November 20th and 21st 2009, both shows being highlights of the celebrated tour.

Released on Mute, this spectacular DVD release comes with a host of bonus content including four bonus tracks recorded across the two nights, a tour documentary - Inside The Universe - two tracks filmed at tour rehearsals in New York and Anton Corbijn's specially created 'screen films' for seven tracks plus further bonus montages created from the on-stage screens.

In addition the four promotional videos from 2009's acclaimed 'Sounds Of The Universe' album including the Grammy nominated Wrong, directed by Patrick Daughters, are included.
